Senior Minister of State (Ministry of Communications and Information, Ministry of Community, Culture and Youth) Ms Sim Ann visited Shanghai as well as Jiaxing and Hangzhou in Zhejiang province from 29 to 31 August 2018. During SMS Sim’s visit, SMS was the Guest-of-Honour at the groundbreaking ceremony of Singapore real estate company KOP’s Wintastar (冰雪之星) project in the Lingang District, slated to be the world’s biggest indoor ski resort in the world.  SMS led a business delegation to Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, where she met and was hosted to dinner by Mayor Mao Hongfang. SMS subsequently travelled to Hangzhou to meet Zhejiang Governor Yuan Jiajun over lunch at his invitation. Governor Yuan had just returned from an official visit to Singapore the previous week.
