VISIT OF SMS SIM ANN TO SHANGHAI AND ZHEJIANG, 23 TO 27 APRIL 2018

Senior Minister of State at the Ministries of Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Industry Ms Sim Ann visited Shanghai and Zhejiang (Hangzhou and Zhoushan) from 23 to 27 April 2018. SMS Sim Ann co-chaired the 13th Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council Meeting (SZETC) in Zhoushan on 26 April 2018.


In Hangzhou, SMS Sim called on Zhejiang Governor Yuan Jiajun.  SMS Sim also brought along a delegation comprising of some of our retail companies for her visit to give them a sense of the vibrant retail scene in Shanghai and Hangzhou and how the latest technology is applied to the retail sector in China.  The Singapore delegation visited new retail concepts like the HEMA Supermarket in Shanghai.
