Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Health Dr Lam Pin Min, accompanied by his spouse Dr Jeanette Chen, made a working visit to Shanghai from 18 to 20 April 2018 for a ship-naming ceremony hosted by a Singapore company Pacific International Lines (PIL) at the Yangzijiang Shipyard. The new ship has a capacity of 11,800 TEUs and was christened “Kota Perkasa”, meaning Brave City in the Malay Language.
