SINGAPORE 52ND NATIONAL DAY RECEPTION IN SHANGHAI

The Consulate-General hosted the Singapore 52nd National Day Reception on 18 August 2017 at the Hyatt on the Bund Grand Ballroom. The main Guest-of-Honour at the event was Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Vice Mayor Madam Weng Tiehui.  A copy of Ambassador Stanley Loh’s speech at the reception can be found here.


This year’s Reception also featured musical performances by Singapore’s yIN Harmony - an ethnic music group whose vision is to combine various cultural instruments on a single platform to reflect Singapore’s multi-racial and multi-cultural society.
