Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Finance and Transport Mrs Josephine Teo visited Shanghai in June 2015 to grace a Gala Dinner marking SIA’s 30 Years in China organised by Singapore Airlines.  Singapore Airlines first started operating in the mainland Chinese market in 1985.  During her visit in Shanghai, SMS Teo also met Chairman of China Eastern Airlines Liu Shaoyong and visited the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd (COMAC).
