Visit by Senior Minister of State Lee Yi Shyan to Nanjing for 21st APEC SME Ministerial Meeting

        Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Trade and Industry and for National Development Lee Yi Shyan attended the 21st APEC Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Ministerial Meeting in Nanjing on 5 September 2014. The APEC SME Ministerial Meeting is an annual platform that brings together Ministers responsible for SMEs from the 21 APEC economies.  SMS Lee was accompanied by CG Ong Siew Gay and officials from MTI and Spring Singapore.  He also took the opportunity to visit the Singapore-Nanjing Eco High-Tech Island (SNEHTI) on 6 September 2014.  The SNEHTI is a key bilateral platform project supported under the Singapore-Jiangsu Cooperation Council.
