CG Ong Siew Gay's visit to Suzhou in February 2014

CG Ong Siew Gay called on Suzhou Mayor Zhou Naixiang earlier in February 2014.  We exchanged Chinese New Year greetings and discussed bilateral cooperation as both sides celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Suzhou Industrial Park this year.  Following the call, CG Ong joined SIPAC Party Secretary Wang Xiang and Suzhou Vice Mayor Sheng Lei at the opening ceremony of a Lunar New Year celebration event by the Jinji Lake.  Inspired by Singapore’s very own annual “River Hongbao” festival, this marks the beginning of a ten-day festival around the Jinji Lake celebrating the Lunar New Year and drawing tourists from both inside and beyond Jiangsu.
