CG Ong's visit to northern Jiangsu

      CG Ong Siew Gay visited Xuzhou, Suqian, Yancheng and Nantong in northern Jiangsu from 8-11 September 2013.

      As industries in southern Jiangsu and Shanghai face rising costs, northern Jiangsu has often been mentioned in business circles as one of the alternative destinations for industrial relocation.  The visit allows us to better understand the local investment environment and touch base with leaders in the various cities. 

       We also took the opportunity to visit the Suzhou-Suqian Industrial Park and Suzhou-Nantong Science and Technology Park located in Suqian and Nantong respectively.  These two industrial parks, invested by the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co. Ltd, reflect the SIP's "Going Out" strategy to venture beyond Suzhou.
