Participation of Dr Liu Thai-Ker in the China International Urbanization Forum

Renowned architect-planner Dr Liu Thai-Ker was in Shanghai to participate in the China International Urbanization Forum in March 2012. Dr Liu is Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Liveable Cities, and formerly long-serving CEO of HDB and URA in Singapore. He participated in the panel on "Urbanization and Sustainable Development" and was touted by the Chinese organisers as the “Father of Urban Planning” of Singapore.
