INAUGURAL CHINA-SINGAPORE CULTURAL EXCHANGE YOUTH AMBASSADORS’ PROGRAMME

Suzhou Daily organised the inaugural China-Singapore Cultural Exchange You Ambassador’s Programme in January 2017.  This programme is supported by the Suzhou Municipal Propaganda Department, the Singapore Consulate-General in Shanghai, and the PRC Embassy in Singapore.  The programme saw the selection of 10 youth ambassadors from primary and secondary schools in Suzhou, based on the talents in Suzhou’s traditional arts such as Suzhou embroidery and kunqu.  CG Loh Tuck Wai attended the award presentation ceremony in Suzhou on 6 January 2017 and also hosted the youth ambassadors at the Singapore Consulate-General in Shanghai before their departure to Singapore.  A video of their visit to Singapore can be found here.
